Hokkaido, Sapporo, and Otaru have announced that 23 new people have been confirmed infected with the new coronavirus.
More than 20 people have been infected a day since May 6th.
Infection was confirmed in 21 people in Sapporo City, and 1 person each in Otaru City and Shiribeshi area.
The total number of infected people in Hokkaido is now 1478.
