Indian actor Abhishek Bachchan, son of the famous actor Amitabh Bachchan, has announced his father’s discharge from hospital after recovering from the Coronavirus.
Amitabh (77 years old) had announced on July 11 that he had been infected with the Corona virus and taken to hospital. After that, his son Abhishek announced he was infected with the virus and transferred to the hospital as well.
The Indian network, NDTV, reported that Abhishek published a tweet in which he said: "The results of the corona examination of my father were negative and he was discharged from the hospital." He added, "He will be at home now for a rest. Thank you for your good prayers and wishes."
Actress Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek's wife, also had the virus, and their daughter. They were taken to hospital and discharged on July 27, and are currently being subjected to domestic isolation.
