Typhoon No. 3 occurred off the coast of the Indochina Peninsula on the afternoon of the 1st.

According to observations by the Japan Meteorological Agency, at 3:00 pm on the 1st, the tropical cyclone changed to Typhoon No. 3 in Tonkin Bay east of the Indochina Peninsula.

The central air pressure is 994 hectopascals, the maximum wind speed near the center is 18 meters, and the maximum instantaneous wind speed is 25 meters. A strong wind with a wind speed of 15 meters or more blows within 1100 km southeast and 440 km northwest of the center.

A typhoon is traveling west-northwest at a speed of 15 km per hour, and the Meteorological Agency is calling attention to vessels passing by.
