On August 1, this year’s No. 3 typhoon "Senrak" (tropical storm level) passed over the sea in the southern part of Sanya City, Hainan Province at around 15:00, and its center moved into the sea of Beibu Gulf at 17:00, with the center located in the south of Dongfang City, Hainan Province. About 100 kilometers west of the sea, it is 18.2 degrees north latitude and 108.4 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind force near the center is 8 (18 m/s), and the lowest pressure in the center is 992 hPa. Affected by this, the Central Meteorological Observatory issued a blue typhoon warning at 18:00, heavy rainfall occurred in the whole province of Hainan, and Haikou and Wenchang issued an orange warning of heavy rain.
