  Among the 100 cases of new coronary pneumonia infection reported in Dalian City, according to current address statistics, 84 cases are distributed in Ganjingzi District, including 55 confirmed cases and 29 asymptomatic infections; 12 cases in Jinpu New District, including 10 confirmed cases , 2 cases of asymptomatic infection; 1 case in Xigang District, a confirmed case; 2 cases in Pulandian District, including 1 confirmed case and 1 case of asymptomatic infection; 1 case in Wafangdian City, a confirmed case.

  According to the analysis of the source of the cases, 85 cases are directly or indirectly related to Kaiyang, accounting for 85% of the total number of people infected with new coronary pneumonia. The source of infection of 15 cases needs to be further investigated and verified. Fifteen cases of the epidemic were imported into Anshan and Tieling cities in Liaoning Province, Siping, Changchun and Baicheng in Jilin Province, Hegang and Suihua in Heilongjiang Province, Fuzhou in Fujian Province and Changping District in Beijing.   Meng Jun introduced that on July 22, Dalian City first reported a new coronary pneumonia infection, which was a confirmed case. After that, close contacts were checked and nucleic acid tests were performed. More asymptomatic infections were found. The newly confirmed cases were all transformed from asymptomatic infections, and the outbreak was detected earlier. The onset time of cases with self-reported clinical manifestations was analyzed. The onset began on July 9 at the earliest. The peak of reporting a positive nucleic acid test was July 24, and the number of daily reports showed a downward trend. Due to the development of screening, unrelated cases have increased, but the overall trend has stabilized.

  Meng Jun pointed out that in the next few days, it is not ruled out that among close contacts related to Kaiyang, the continued detection of asymptomatic infections and the possibility of long-latency positive detections. The community cases in Dalian are mainly concentrated in the streets of Dalian Bay, and the possibility of small-scale community transmission in the streets of Dalian Bay cannot be ruled out.

  Meng Jun introduced that the following prevention and control measures will be implemented:

  1. Communities in medium- and high-risk areas should be managed in a closed manner, with personnel management and control, and crowd gathering activities restricted. Organize home-based active investigations and nucleic acid tests, and send those with fever or other symptoms to designated medical institutions for investigation.

  2. All public places shall check the itinerary card or health code of persons entering public places, and require them to wear masks and take body temperature measurements.

  3. All medical institutions shall conduct nucleic acid testing on every fever patient, strengthen the management of observing suspected cases, earnestly implement the admission screening process, and prevent the occurrence of nosocomial infections.

  4. Do a good job in sanitation and quarantine and traceability of imported food, especially frozen fresh seafood and meat products.

  5. Key places, especially seafood and other processing enterprises, should strengthen environmental improvement, cleanliness and hygiene, and strengthen ventilation in workplaces.

  6. The general public must earnestly perform their duties as the first person responsible for health, wear masks, gather less, wash hands frequently, ventilate frequently, pay attention to food hygiene, strengthen self-health monitoring, and work together to fight the epidemic.
