Saitama Prefecture announced that a patient in their 90s who had been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus died on the 28th at a hospital in the prefecture where he was hospitalized. The prefecture says that the sex of patients who died due to the wishes of their bereaved families cannot be determined. Out of the confirmed cases of infection in Saitama prefecture, 73 people have died.
