On July 29, the reporter visited the medium and high-risk areas in Dalian, Liaoning-Dalianwan Street in Ganjingzi District and Workers Village Community in Xianglujiao Street in Xigang District.
In the high-risk area of Dalian Bay Street, the streets and communities have been closed and controlled. Patrol cars continue to pass by on the road, reminding citizens not to go out and pay attention to home isolation.
In the Workers’ Village Community of Xianglujiao Street, Xigang District, the medium-risk area, all communities in this community have been closed for management. There are few pedestrians on the surrounding roads. Local citizens use online purchases to meet their daily needs.
On July 25, Dalian officials designated Dalianwan Subdistrict in Ganjingzi District as a high-risk area, and four communities (villages) including Gongong Village, Xianglujiao Street, Xigang District, were designated as medium-risk areas.
Up to now, Dalian has a total of 52 confirmed cases, and 34 cases of asymptomatic infection are still under medical observation. Of the 52 confirmed cases, 30 were employees of Dalian Kaiyang Seafood Company, 9 were employees of Kaiyang Seafood Company, 9 were residents of Dalian Bay Street, and 4 were close contacts of confirmed cases or asymptomatic infections.
