Recently, a piece of "college students posing on the rails forcing the train to stop" news has attracted widespread attention. Although the incident occurred in Xiamen, the reporter found that this incident is not an isolated case. In Beijing, a group of photography enthusiasts often place their shooting locations on railways or highways in pursuit of new ideas, which not only affects the normal operation of vehicles, but also easily causes safety accidents. In the past few days, the reporter visited some popular shooting locations in the city, further confirming that this phenomenon does exist and it is getting worse. During the interview, many citizens put forward the suggestion that “being creative in taking pictures is a good thing, but you must pay attention to safety”.

Just hang

Many people stand on the track to take pictures

"Japanese station", "movie texture", "romantic tram style"...A number of labels on the Internet have made Beijing Hyundai Tram West Suburb Line a popular location. On July 25, the reporter came to the West Gate Station of the Summer Palace on the Xijiao Line. There was a security guard at the gate and a station attendant near the entrance and exit was patrolling.

Go straight from the entrance and exit, and you will reach the north platform of the station. The platform is small, and the distance from the southern platform is only about 5 meters. The overall architectural style is very "small and fresh". For safety, there are fences on both sides of the platform. However, there are no fences installed near the entrance of the platform where the north-south platform passes, so it can be unimpeded. It was originally for the convenience of traffic, but unexpectedly it provided convenience to a large number of people taking pictures. The reporter saw that in only half an hour, four pairs of combined stations took pictures on the track.

Most of these combinations consist of a photographer and a model. In the beginning, these people just leaned against the fence in the platform or poked their heads and looked forward in various poses. Seeing them close to the fence, the station staff have to keep reminding them to "keep away." On the day of the reporter's visit, more and more people came to take pictures, and the station attendant seemed to be a little weak. She called another station attendant to "support" through the intercom.

It is understood that the Xijiao Line of Beijing Hyundai Tram is the first modern tram line operated by Beijing Public Transport. It was opened for operation on December 30, 2017. It starts at Bagou Station and connects Xiangshan Park, Beijing Botanical Garden and Yuquan Suburbs. The park and the Summer Palace stop at Xiangshan Station. The reporter roughly calculated the time at the scene, and every five minutes or so, a tram would come into the station. When entering the station, the tram would honked its whistle in advance and slowed down. However, during the short tens of seconds when entering the station, some models deliberately ran on the track to make a walk.

Due to design reasons, if you want to pass between the platforms on both sides, you can only pass through the middle track, which undoubtedly gives these photographers "opportunities." With the tram as the background, they kept posing in various poses, while the photographer took the opportunity to take pictures.

The tram takes about 30 seconds to stop at the station, and the distance between the front of the train and the track where the models are standing is only about 3 meters. The reporter noticed that the tram will start only after the photographer has left "satisfied". Sometimes, the tram stop time far exceeds 30 seconds. "Although the speed of the car is not fast, these photographers in the middle of the track will definitely affect the driver's vision. If the train moves and a photographer suddenly enters, it is still very dangerous." A citizen said worriedly.

In addition, there are photographers trying to walk far away along the track. "There is electrical danger, come back quickly!" The station attendant immediately called out the photographer who broke into the track. The reporter noticed that there are a large number of wires distributed above the poles, and there are warnings of "high voltage danger". The station staff said that they would promptly advise in a situation similar to taking pictures in the track to ensure safety.

Some citizens suggested adding telescopic fences at intersections. When the train is approaching the station, the staff will temporarily close the intersection and let it pass after the train leaves. "This can at least effectively stop these photographers and avoid There has been a safety incident."

Courageous

Shooting in the middle of the road

Due to its historical background and European-style architecture, Dongjiaomin Lane has always been one of the most popular places for photo shoots. On July 26, despite the light rain, many photographers still came here in the rain. Many of them stood directly on the motorway in pursuit of a shooting angle.

A woman stood directly inside the barrier of the motorway in the middle of the road, and the photographer stood a few meters in front of her. The two of them ignored the traffic on this side; at the crossroads of Taijichang Avenue, Zhengyi Road and Dongjiaomin Lane In order to take a long shot of the model standing under the road sign, the photographer even stood in the driveway. The driver kept whistling and urged, and the photographer had to leave before showing up. "Too focused on taking pictures, it is difficult to pay attention to the surrounding road conditions. It rains and the road is slippery, and if the vehicle evades, it will be too late to regret it!" A citizen couldn't help but say when he saw such a shot.

In the CBD core area, the popular China World Mall also has many young people shooting here. On the south side of Guanghua Road, near the entrance and exit of the parking lot of the New China World Trade Center, the reporter happened to encounter a couple of newlyweds taking wedding photos. Together with three photographers, several people occupied a long non-motorized vehicle lane.

The newcomers are fully focused on the camera, the photographer's attention is also on the newcomers, and the staff holding props next to them also completely ignore the traffic around them. Many electric vehicles and bicycles have to drive on motorways in order to avoid them. The reporter noticed that because the intersection is not far ahead, there is a large traffic volume, and there are many hidden safety hazards under mixed traffic. In addition, the parking lot has vehicles coming and going from time to time. When almost every car passes by, the whistle must be sounded to remind the fully committed photographers to avoid it.

The reporter explores the cause

The meaning is good but suspected of illegal

The reporter inquired about the shooting projects of many photography agencies. Samples with railways and highways as the background are everywhere. Many shops also use "road wedding photos" as a popular recommendation on their homepage. An industry insider told reporters that many newcomers nowadays, in pursuit of creativity, will take the initiative to shoot on the road and give it a certain meaning. For example, shooting on the rails means "no derailment", and shooting on the highway means "all the way forward".

In a sample of a photo studio, a model is standing in the middle of the railroad tracks. Her head is densely packed with electric wires. There are signal lights next to her. There are enclosed fences around her. It can be seen that this is a still running railway. The store also confirmed the reporter’s conjecture, but the staff said that there was no safety issue during the shooting. “This railroad track did open to traffic, but we never saw a train when shooting.”

The reporter also consulted with a number of shops that have launched the "Highway Wedding Photo" project, and the staff provided a lot of samples, many of which were shot on the highway ramp, next to which are speeding motor vehicles. The staff said that both the inner ring road and the viaduct can be used as shooting locations, "but it is not a fixed mode. Our photographers will take pictures on the road according to customer needs. As for safety issues, there is no need to worry about it. The photographer can arrange it. . Just tell us the feeling and style we like to ensure that customers are satisfied."

Although there are various implications for taking pictures on the road, the reporter learned that taking pictures on the road may be suspected of illegality. Article 31 of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China stipulates: Without permission, no unit or individual may occupy the road for non-traffic activities.

Reporter's Notes

Unconventional

Don't ignore safety

Nowadays, many young people, whether they are taking portrait photos or wedding photos, are pursuing new ideas for better results, opening their minds, and full of various imaginations. This is of course understandable, but the pursuit of new ideas should be done in absolute safety and without affecting others.

The reporter learned through investigation that there are still many photography agencies and individuals shooting on the rails, and the sentence "I haven't seen the train during shooting" is obviously not a reason to ignore the safety of life. As for the behavior of the store that plays the "road wedding photo" gimmick, guiding customers to take pictures on the road is even more dangerous. When both parties focus on shooting, it is difficult to pay attention to the surrounding cars. On the roads where cars go, the store’s promise of “we promise to make arrangements” does not seem to be enough to dispel customers’ concerns about safety.

The purpose of taking photos is to preserve the beauty, and if there is an accident during the shooting, it is really worth the loss. You can be different, but you must choose the safest and safest way. We recommend that stores guide consumers reasonably and resolutely say no to dangerous behavior. Relevant departments should strengthen supervision and stop similar dangerous behaviors in time.
