According to the official Weibo news of the Press Office of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region People’s Government, the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Health Commission reported on July 28 from 0:00 to 24:00, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (including Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps) Reported 89 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia (43 of them were asymptomatic infections transferred to confirmed cases), and 15 new asymptomatic infections, all in Urumqi. On the same day, 6 confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections were cured and discharged from hospital, all in Urumqi.
As of 24:00 on July 28, there are currently 322 confirmed cases in Xinjiang (including the Corps) (3 critically ill and 16 severely ill), including 320 in Urumqi, 1 in Kashgar (imported cases in Urumqi), and 1 in the Corps There are 133 cases of asymptomatic infections, including 130 cases in Urumqi, 1 case in the Corps, and 2 cases in Changji Prefecture (imported from Urumqi); 6 cases were cured and discharged from the hospital with confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections. There are 9121 people under medical observation.
