According to the Beijing Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, Wang Gang, party secretary and director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economics and Information Technology, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision and investigation.
Wang Gang's Resume
Wang Gang, male, Han nationality, was born in July 1968 in Jinxi, Liaoning Province. He joined the Communist Party of China in January 1991 and started working in July 1990. He has a postgraduate degree.
From July 1990 to September 1996, he served successively as instructor of the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture of Northern Jiaotong University and an officer of the Student Affairs Department;
From September 1996 to January 2000, he served as Secretary of the Youth League Committee of Northern Jiaotong University (deputy division level);
From January 2000 to February 2001, he served successively as Deputy Division Secretary and Chief Division Secretary of the Organization Department Office of the Beijing Municipal Committee;
From February 2001 to August 2003, he served successively as director-level secretary and deputy bureau-level secretary of the General Office of the Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal People's Congress;
