Kaaris, Gérard Lanvin, Catherine Marchal, Jean Reno in  Bronx… Scheduled in theaters for the month of May, Olivier Marchal's feature film will finally be released on Netflix, the American platform announced on Tuesday.

“In the current context, that of the pandemic, we believe that the Bronx  will have optimal exposure on Netflix. It's a tremendous opportunity for Olivier's film, ”said Sidonie Dumas, producer and general manager of Gaumont, when the film was to be released in theaters from September.

After 36 Quai des Orfèvres , Les Lyonnais  or Braquo , the sixth film directed by Olivier Marchal tells of a settling of scores in the northern districts of Marseille. Shot last fall, the feature film was due for release on May 9 before being postponed due to movie theater closures.

In recent years, Gaumont has co-produced several series and films for Netflix including Narcos , the animated film High in the Clouds  and the highly anticipated Arsène Lupine, with Omar Sy in the role of the gentleman burglar.
