According to the Metropolitan Police Department, a man walking on the platform fell on the track at JR Asagaya Station in Suginami Ward, Tokyo, before 3:00 pm on the 26th.

The man tried to get up to the platform, but was killed by a train that had just entered.

The one who died was Mitsunobu Yoshimoto (51), a massage business in Kodaira City, who was blind.

There was a braille block on the platform at the site, but no platform door was installed.

From the home, a white stick that seems to be Yoshimoto's was found, and according to the family story, he was going to volunteer for massage to the elderly near Asagaya station.
