The third season of Stranger Thing s , particularly appreciated by the fans, concluded with a lot of mysteries. And while the wait for the next season already seems endless, no release date has been announced given the delays caused by the pandemic. Nevertheless, it is still possible to console yourself by watching again and again the meager trailer released last February and which, on close examination, offers several keys to unraveling the secrets of the last season. We think in particular of what happened to Hopper, the endearing sheriff played by the excellent David Harbor.
What happened to Hopper?
[Beware of spoiler] The Stranger Things season 3 finale ends with the sacrifice of Hopper who ultimately finds himself visibly in a jail after surviving the blast of the portal the Russians were trying to open to the Upside-Down. However, in the trailer, we find Hopper, visibly reduced to forced labor, gulag style, in a snowy region.
From there, the questions are numerous. Will the fourth season be mostly devoted to Hopper's peregrinations? Will the Russians seek to use it in order to satisfy their desire to open a portal to the Upside-Down? How long after the end of season 3 do these events take place?
The list is very long, but one thing is certain, the filming of the fourth season was far enough before the pandemic to produce this trailer, and it is already a good sign! From now on, it will be necessary to be patient, and cross your fingers so that new images arrive in not too long.
