Recently, Linzhi, Tibet, the king of cypresses of the world is called Dalaguxiu (big cypress) by the locals. It is located in the Giant Cypress Nature Reserve on the east side of Baji Village, Bayi District, Linzhi City. The reserve is 3000-3200 meters above sea level and covers an area of 200,000 square meters. The average height of the cypress trees in the Tibetan Cypress Natural Garden is 44 meters and the average diameter at breast height is 1.5 meters. The largest one is 57 meters tall and has a diameter at breast height of 5.8 meters. The tree is more than 3,200 years old and is known as the "most cypress tree in China".
