[Explanation] In Guanqiao Village, Guanqiao Township, Haiyuan County, Zhongwei City, Ningxia, many rural women had to "turn around the stove" because they had no income-generating skills. Once divorced, they would lose their financial resources. However, the situation has now changed. Recently, the reporter walked into Guanqiao Village, which is now a "Hope Town", and met a single mother Feng Ying.
[Explanation] Feng Ying told reporters that in the past, she could only do odd jobs, and her income was not only meager but also very unstable. In June 2019, a paper-cutting training class was opened in "Hope Town", and she began to learn the craft of paper-cutting.

At the moment, I am in all aspects (paper-cutting). I don't like to cut flowers and grass so much. I will use my personal expertise, which is to cut portraits of people. A picture customized by others: good in deeds, love in the heart, someone in the eye, virtue in the mouth.
[Explanation] Nowadays, Feng Ying can earn 1,000 to 2,000 yuan a month, and can save about 10,000 yuan a year.

More than two thousand (yuan), sometimes it is slightly lower, around one thousand, but as long as you have a craft, you will have a certain income. That's enough. Our village has low consumption.
[Commentary] After Feng Ying's divorce, she lives with her son who is still in elementary school. She said that as a single mother, there is a lot of financial pressure, but after she has a skill, the life of the mother and son has gradually improved.
