Tomorrow's Summer Forum 2020 will enter its second week, which will be organized by the Emirates Heritage Club in Abu Dhabi "remotely", and will continue until the 29th of this month.

The first week of the forum witnessed, through the club's online platform, the participation of a number of traditional trainers who presented workshops that left a positive impact on students.

Among the most prominent heritage workshops witnessed in the first week: diving, popular games, palms and gear, in addition to the falcon workshop.

Students and those concerned with the heritage continued the workshops that aimed to introduce children to the heritage of parents and grandparents, and to promote the national identity and preserve its vocabulary.

The head of the Centers Affairs Department at the Emirates Heritage Club and Director of Al-Sumalia Forum, Rashid Khadim Al-Rumaithi said: “This forum is our first experience from a distance, and we thank God that it was a success and witnessed praise from all participants.” He added, “We designed a private studio at the club’s headquarters, and all the workshops were broadcast on the electronic platform of the Emirates Heritage Club.”

Al-Rumaithi pointed out what the trainers presented in the first week of the forum, pointing out that the Emirates Heritage Club seeks through events and workshops to leave a distinctive mark in the hearts of the participating students, as well as through activities that it organizes or participates in in cooperation with other bodies concerned with the state.

He pointed out that a heritage competition was launched on a daily basis through social media sites of the Emirates Heritage Club by setting a daily question, and leaving the space for students to participate, as a drawing and selection of winners are made to provide daily prizes for them, in order to motivate children to participate.

The activities of the forum will be devoted to the second week, which starts tomorrow, for heritage coaches and women's centers of the Emirates Heritage Club, and the workshops will be broadcast through a special studio designed in the Abu Dhabi Women's Center, and will also be from a distance, with the participation of students affiliated with women's centers.
