At present, the Fujian section of the Qu-Ning Railway is undergoing static acceptance and entering the countdown stage of opening. It is planned to have the conditions for opening to traffic at the end of September. The Quning Railway starts in Quzhou, Zhejiang and ends in Ningde, Fujian. Among them, the Fujian section was fully started on September 25, 2015. The main line is about 172 kilometers in length, with 15 stations including Songxi, Zhenghe, Jianoudong and Pingnan. After the opening of the Qu-Ning Railway, the history of no railways in parts of northeastern Fujian will be ended, and the development of mineral resources and tourism along the southwest of Zhejiang and northeastern Fujian will be promoted.
