From 0:00 to 24:00 on July 21, there were 9 newly confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia and 14 cases of asymptomatic infection in Urumqi. As of 24:00 on July 21, there are 62 confirmed cases and 69 asymptomatic infections in Urumqi.
Rui Baoling, director of the Urumqi City Center for Disease Control and Prevention, said that with the further increase in nucleic acid testing, some cases and asymptomatic infections may be screened out.
After the outbreak, Urumqi City adopted strict control measures. The general public actively cooperated to stay at home, reducing the chance of personnel movement and cross-infection, and basically controlling the risk of clustered epidemics. Please rest assured.
