One new case was cured and discharged from Pakistan.

  Case 1 is of Chinese nationality and works in Mexico. He departed from Mexico on July 18 and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on July 19 after transiting through Japan. After entering the country, he was quarantined for observation and developed symptoms during the period. Comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory test and imaging examination results, etc., were diagnosed as a confirmed case.

  Case 2 is of Chinese nationality and works in Singapore. He departed from Singapore on July 17 and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on July 18. After entering the country, he was quarantined and observed and developed symptoms during the period. Comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory test and imaging examination results, etc., were diagnosed as a confirmed case.

  Two confirmed imported cases abroad have been transferred to designated medical institutions for treatment, and 89 close contacts on the same flight have been traced, and centralized isolation and observation have been implemented.

  From 0-24 on July 21, there were no new confirmed cases of local new coronary pneumonia.

  As of 24:00 on July 21, a total of 395 imported confirmed cases were reported, 374 were cured and discharged, and 21 were treated in hospital. There is 1 suspected case to be investigated.
