At 15:00 on July 21, the "Silk Road Environment" pilot project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the second Qinghai-Tibet scientific research lake team used the built water drilling platform to successfully drill a 100.63-meter-long lake in the central lake area of Nam Co, Tibet, at a depth of 95 meters. Core, the total core removal rate reaches 98%. This is the first time that my country has obtained a lake core over 100 meters long in a high-altitude deep-water lake on the Tibetan Plateau, achieving a breakthrough in deep-water lake sampling.
