In the past few hours, social networking pioneers have been busy reporting the birth of a rare and endangered giant Chinese panda, inside the zoo in the South Korean theme park (Everland).

This is the first panda born in South Korea, where the zoo said that the seven-year-old panda I Bao intermarried with the eight-year-old panda Li Bao in late March, and their baby was born on Monday evening at 21:49 Local time (1249 GMT).

The garden added that the first born of the couple is 16.5 centimeters and weighs 197 grams and that the mother panda and the little panda are healthy, according to (Reuters).
