The German virologist, Professor Jonas Schmidt Kanasette, warned against covering only the muzzle without the nose in order to protect against the Corona virus.

He explained that «putting the muzzle on the mouth only without the nose does not allow it to repel the small particles of the spray, which come out of the mouth or nose of the wearer during speech, coughing or sneezing, and thus do not protect others from possible infection with the virus, and at the same time the wearer is not protected from Inhaling droplets from others.

The German scientist added that "the correct use also means not to touch the mask with the hand, wear it, or take it off only by holding it from the tapes, knowing that the benefit of the muzzle appears especially when people are in contact with a long time, for example, on the metro or the train."

He stressed the need for the muzzle to be in accordance with medical specifications, while not neglecting other aspects to fight the virus, such as adhering to safety distances, and good hygiene and ventilation of closed places.
