A hit born with the film Crià Cuervos

Porque Te Vas was released in 1974. However, it was only two years after that it achieved the success that we know today, thanks to the film Crià Cuervos , by Carlos Saura. Released a year after the death of dictator Franco, the feature film is a glaring allegory of the state of the country under his reign. Carlos Saura said: "We are going through a period of demolition, from which something else will emerge. My film deals with this process of destruction and death."

The message is subtle, is linked through the characters… and it is as the soundtrack of this film that Porque Te Vas will become one of the hits of 1976. To the point that Jeannette, arrived in Spain at twelve years old, born in London and who spent her childhood in Chicago, makes a French version

It is especially Porque Te Vas that the general public will remember from the singer's discography, who however released other albums afterwards. Note all the same the song Frente a Frente,  released in 1981, which has six million views on YouTube.
