The Directorate General of Health published Monday the daily report of the coronavirus epidemic in France. Despite incomplete figures, the death toll is now estimated at 30,177 people, while 467 are hospitalized in intensive care. A figure lower than that of Friday evening.

The number of coronavirus deaths is now estimated at 30,177 people in France, according to the assessment of the Directorate General of Health published Monday evening. The figures are however incomplete because, as a result of an anomaly in the reporting of data, the number of new hospitalized cases, new admissions to intensive care and new people who died in the last 24 hours is not available.

This report shows 467 patients hospitalized in intensive care. A figure down (-10) compared to that of Friday evening. Since the start of the epidemic, 106,204 people have been hospitalized and 79,541 people have returned home.

The DGS emphasizes that the virus is still circulating on national territory, as shown by the number of new "clusters" (539 cases grouped together including those detected in Ehpad since May 9). But the so-called "early" indicators of the epidemic do not show a second wave: SOS doctors performed 428 operations for suspected COVID-19, or 5% of total activity. The emergency services noted 198 passages for this same reason, or 0.6% of total activity.
