Birth between different types of whales Rare child whale display Wakayama Taijicho July 20 15:16

In Taiji Town, Wakayama Prefecture, an exhibition of rare whales born between different types of whales has begun.

At the Whale Museum in Taiji Town, known as the city of whales, small whales and other small animals are bred, and in June last year, a baby was born between a male and a female golden goose.

A female whale named "Hiyoka" became one year old and was moved to a public skeleton with his mother on the 20th.

The body length of "Hiyoka" is about 2 meters and 50 centimeters, and you can see the characteristics inherited from both parents, such as the round head that seems to be a dragonfly, and the large teeth that are seen in the oyster dog.

According to the Whale Museum, although similar types of whales are rarely seen in nature, only a few of them are bred in Japan, so Deputy Director Taiki Inamori said, ``How do rare individuals grow? I would like you to look forward to it. I would like to accumulate data as a museum."
