Lake Notoro in Abashiri City is the second largest production area of Hokkaishima shrimp next to Notsuke Bay in the eastern part of Hokkaido.
On 17th of this month, more than 30 fishing boats left the fishing port for the first time in 2 years from around 4am.
When the fishing boat returned to the port, the shrimp, which were about 10 cm long in the basket, were landed one after another.
On this day, more than 620 kilograms were landed, which is about 200 kilograms less than that of Otoshito.
The shrimp shrimp that were brought to the processing plant were boiled in a kettle, then sorted by size and shipped.
Yoichi Ishigaki, one of the fishermen, said, "I want to continue fishing every year while working on resource conservation. I want consumers to eat a lot."
The shrimp shrimp caught in Lake Notoro are shipped to various parts of Hokkaido including Abashiri City.
