Their home quarantine was not sufficient. Bollywood superstar and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who tested positive for coronavirus nearly a week ago, was hospitalized in Bombay with her eight-year-old daughter, several media reported on Friday.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, 46, and her daughter Aaradhya were placed in quarantine at their home but had to be transferred to hospital after reporting "difficulty breathing," said the Times of India .

"They are doing well," informed the news agency Press Trust of India a source at the hospital where there are already the husband of former Miss World, actor Abhishek Bachchan, and her stepfather and living legend of Indian cinema, Amitabh Bachchan.
