A former Bollywood star and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been hospitalized in Bombay with her eight-year-old daughter, according to local media.
Aishwarya Bachchan, 46, and her daughter Aradia isolated themselves at home after they had been diagnosed with the emerging coronavirus approximately a week ago, but had to be taken to hospital after they reported "difficulty breathing," according to the Times of India.
"They are fine," said a source at the hospital where Ray's husband, actor Abhishek Bachchan, and his father, the star Amitabh Bachchan, who were also infected last week with the Covid-19 epidemic, said.
Ray was crowned Queen of World Beauty in 1994 and started acting in the early 1990s.
She became one of the brightest Bollywood stars at home and abroad, and she was one of the pioneers of the French Cannes Festival and married Abhishek Bachchan in 2007.
