The first outdoor nucleic acid sampling cabinet in Shanghai was officially opened on July 15 at the Oriental Hospital Affiliated to Tongji University. The work cabinet was designed by the Department of Infectious Diseases of Dongfang Hospital, and jointly completed by Aixin Enterprise. The design was revised and improved several times, and was set according to strict hospitality standards.
The working comfort of the samplers has been greatly improved to prevent them from being prone to hypoxia, heatstroke, etc. in isolation suits on hot days.
There are three small rooms in each sampling workstation, which are the medical entrance, the sampling room, and the medical exit. The delivery window is set beside the sampling window. The cleaning and pollution areas are strictly divided to prevent the occurrence of nosocomial infections. (Chen Jing Xu Mingrui)
