Just four days later, a new book comes out that revolves around one of the novel characters in Scott Fitzgerald's classic: Nick Carraway, writes The Guardian.

The new novel, entitled "Nick", is written by Michael Farris Smith, and is a so-called "prequel" to "The Great Gatsby".

The book takes place before Nick Carraway becomes part of millionaire Jay Gatsby's life, and according to the publisher will "lift Nick Carraway out of the shadows and into the spotlight".
