The Al-Nahda movement called on President Qais Saeed to assume his responsibilities to ensure stability in the country.

The Thursday episode of "Beyond the News" (16/7/2020) discussed the political and constitutional dimensions of the controversy that accompanied Elias Al-Fakhfakh's announcement of his resignation, and his dismissal of the Renaissance ministers; In conjunction with the presentation of a regulation to withdraw confidence from his government.

Mehdi Mabrouk, professor of sociology at the Tunisian University, said that this stage is heading towards difficult and difficult consultations. Given the state of the government alliance, political congestion, as well as the paralysis that affected the institutions of government and parliament.

Legal stakes

He added that the Renaissance movement insists on moving forward with the list of blame and withdrawing confidence despite the resignation of the traps, due to the existence of a constitutional controversy, as well as the circumstances related to the current situation.

He also argued that the crisis is primarily legal, in addition to moral and symbolic betting. He considered that attention is directed to the allies, the president of the Free Constitutional Party, Abeer Musa, and the president of the republic, who must take the matter seriously.

For his part, the author and political analyst Salahuddin Al-Jurashi considered that the Renaissance movement wants to impose new conditions, to confirm that it is not the only one that stood in the way of withdrawing confidence from the traps, but there is a broad coalition that exceeds 120 deputies.

He stressed that the message addressed is that there is a parliamentary majority for the President of the Republic to take into account, and take care of its demands.

Al-Jurashi considered that the removal of traps to dismiss the ministers of the Al-Nahda movement reflects a weak position, as it left a bad impression in the political circles, because it was lowered to the level of political relations in the country, indicating that there is a kind of race in order to prepare for the upcoming negotiations to settle the political situation.
