In his house located in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, west of Gaza City, the young Ahmed Al-Madhoun turned a small room into a simple operator, who spent many hours inside to practice his talent in making sculptures and figures of various shapes, sizes and types, which he formed using a group of oysters and seashells that he collects daily from Gaza beach .
The pieces made from seashell and oysters vary by simple equipment, between historical figures, animals and birds, as well as artistic figures of bands and landscapes, which the young artist creates on a small table that is his way to achieve his ambitions, so he must turn the rigid pieces of the dies into artistic paintings. «Emirates Today» visited the operator of the young Ahmed Al-Madhoun (30 years), who is filled with dozens of figures that appear to everyone who watches them as small living creatures, but when he approaches them and grabs them in his hand, he discovers that they are artistic pieces of seashells and oysters aligned and attached to each other, made brilliantly and accurately With simple tools.
Al-Madhoun, a graduate of radio and television art, did not find a way to his field of specialization, so he resorted to the seashore in 2014, to complete the journey of his talent that accompanied him since childhood, where he collected oysters and seashells that the sea hurls out of the water, so this is the beginning of his artistic journey in making Solids and paintings.
The young artist said, “My passion for collecting the largest number of shells and oysters was great at the beginning of my career. My need was to collect large quantities to make the objects and paintings on my mind that I have in mind every day at the seashore from north to south, and I did not hesitate to ask fishermen about "The best times and seasons are seashells and shellfish on the beach, and the winter season is right."
He adds: «Not a day has passed in the winter, except for the seashore, and I collected thousands of pieces of shellfish and shells of various shapes and sizes, and I used to put all the quantity I collected in a wooden box to save them, and after two years of excavating and collecting the pieces, I took them out, and then I started my career in forming Models and paintings with great accuracy and care.
The first artistic model made by the young artist in his simple workshop was for a person carrying a sword, and then he produced a painting for a musical ensemble, in which he embodied the shapes and features of each performer in addition to the musical instruments he used to play.

Ahmed Al-Madhoun indicates that he was adopted after the beginning of his artistic career on the Internet, as he was browsing many sites to see a group of works and artistic figures from various countries of the world, noting that he started producing these works in his workshop using oysters and seashells, in addition to adding some touches and special additions Using it, to create new and distinctive paintings.
