The State Duma adopted in first reading a law on the protection of the territorial integrity of Russia. That is exactly what you and I voted on July 1, when amendments to the Constitution were adopted - there should be no talk about the distribution of Russian territories!
Let me remind you of the words of the Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, which he said during an emotional discussion of the law: “We [have] Russian politicians, names can be given that have publicly stated the need to divide Russia. Here for them now, they must understand, responsibility appears up to ten years. For American politicians who dreamed of our country, responsibility also appears. If they come to our country, they can be arrested, and their extradition can be requested. These are concrete effective measures to protect our sovereignty. ”
In general, a very strange feeling arises when you read a law in which everything seems to be obvious, you can’t argue, you can’t argue. It seems that there is and cannot be anything more natural than such a law. However, for some reason, almost thirty years had elapsed since the signing of the Bialowieza Agreements, so that we, as a country and people, would finally recognize the need to consolidate responsibility for new calls for the dismemberment of our state.
For how many years we, responsible citizens, were outraged by open statements about the need to fragment Russia not even from the side of foreign “colleagues”, no, from our opposition. They were distributed on the air of some radio stations, published on the sites of "independent" publications.
The most overt destructive activity was not punished at all. Moreover, these people felt like a white bone, which can be much more than the rest, because they are special. Over and over again they tried the state security system for strength, and they constantly got away with it. They seem to be used to impunity.
But the questions in all such cases should have been asked not for these people. We have a democratic state, everything that is not prohibited is allowed. Questions should be asked to the state.
Why is this possible? What are our goals? Where are we going and who do we see ourselves in the future? Specific principalities scattered throughout the divided territory of a once great country? Wretched, orphaned, useless to anyone. Without sovereignty, the army and the economy.
Yes, that’s exactly what the Russian “Luxembourgs” and “nuns”, which some Russian oppositionists so dream of, would have expected in the finale. European principalities would not work - no one would allow. These would be African bantustans, Indian reservations, completely dependent on the older American brother, powerful, dominant, spreading his colonial power throughout the world.
Something, but they know how to reduce civilized nations to the level of savages.
Would this “older brother” be interested in the development and well-being of the Russian colonies? Surprisingly, it still seems necessary to explain to smart people about the US security doctrine, in which Russia is designated as one of America’s main enemies, and therefore must be destroyed, like Carthage.
And, of course, once again I will remind you of examples of the “successful development” of those countries where Western democracy suddenly came. Isn't the Middle East enough for you? Remember the former Yugoslavia and everything that is happening there now. But Germany, for example, was united, and Yugoslavia was dismembered. And I am sure that the separatists are in vain rejoicing, even during the life of our generation, the reverse unification of the divided and deprived southern Slavs will begin.
We will return to Russia. What happened when we suddenly realized our mistakes and found the strength to correct them, and even in such a turbulent moment for the world when everyone around us paid and repented for racism, oppression of LGBT minorities and so on?
We acted exactly perpendicular to what is happening in Western countries. Verily, the ways of the Lord are inscrutable and the actions of Russia cannot be predicted. Moreover, it turns out that we often do not imagine what we can expect from ourselves.
It is hard to imagine a more timely step. If we want to preserve ourselves as a country and civilization, we must protect ourselves by all means available. From childhood, we remember how we were told in kindergarten about our country as the largest in the world, how it was shown on the map, how proud we were and what a sense of calm and harmony gave rise to these stories.
This is a childhood memory. But I would like to resurrect all these feelings in me now. Russia is our Empire. One and indivisible. From Kaliningrad to Vladivostok. There is no and cannot be a country without such an understanding. Our holy duty is to preserve the given ancestors and increased grandfathers.
