Al Mazroui, during his inspection of the final preparations for the festival, stressed that the heritage event continues to achieve successive successes, thanks to the unlimited support from the leadership over the past years.
The chairman of the Festival and Cultural and Heritage Programs Management Committee toured the stages of the participation in the Liwa Wet Festival competitions, and listened to an explanation from the festival management committee about registration procedures and the submission of entries, which are carried out in accordance with the preventive and precautionary measures issued by the competent authorities, and emphasizes social distance.
Al Mazrouei listened to an explanation from the arbitration committees, on the counting and judging processes for the various competitions included in the festival, which number 22 and last seven days.
The festival activities for the current session are limited to wet and fruit competitions, without visitors, in the interest of public safety, and the safety of participants and workers under the current exceptional circumstances.
