The statement stated that the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress passed the National Security Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China on June 30, which was subsequently gazetted and implemented. Over the past few days, all sectors of Hong Kong society and the general public have expressed their support and support for Hong Kong's National Security Law through various means. The statement pointed out that since last year's "revision storm", Hong Kong has seen its most severe situation since its return. Radicals have continued to carry out violent terrorist activities. The anti-China chaos Hong Kong blatantly advocated "Hong Kong independence" and Hong Kong's social order and rule of law have been severely damaged. The interests of the general public have been seriously damaged. Among them, what role the United States has played is clearly seen by people with clear eyes, and some American politicians may be well aware of it. Hong Kong is a special administrative region of China. The Chinese government passed legislation to maintain the national security of its own local administrative region, end the chaos in Hong Kong, and plug relevant legal loopholes. This is both in line with the principle of sovereignty and international practice. Unreasonable meddling and shameless threats by the United States are typical gangster logic and bullying behavior. The statement also pointed out that the United States has made huge profits in Hong Kong for many years. The so-called economic sanctions will not have a substantial impact on Hong Kong, but will only seriously damage its own interests.
