The Egyptian young man Mahmoud Mohamed Ayoub (23 years old) succeeded in achieving the record for the largest number of pneumatic steps within 30 seconds, in an achievement recognized by the Guinness Records, the official authority for monitoring and recording records around the world.

The global foundation said that Ayoub achieved 56 air steps, breaking the previous world record, which stood at 51 steps.

The ceremony, which was held in front of the historic Hibs Temple located in the Egyptian city of Kharga, witnessed a member of the faculty of the New Valley University, in which Ayoub, his sports coach and some of his friends graduated.

Guinness World Records said that Mahmoud Ayoub possesses distinctive ingredients that make him a candidate to break more records in the future, as the Egyptian youth managed to win three titles before, two of whom are still registered in his name. In addition to the new number, Ayoub holds the record for the most number of thumb exercises in a minute.

For his part, Ayoub said: “I have always been passionate about sports, because I am a graduate of the Department of Sport and Education at the New Valley University. I have always thought that breaking a world record falls only within the capabilities of the superpowers, and it never occurred to me to be one of the record-breaking people ever. Then I realized that the records differ and differ in terms of their specializations, and the time period required to be accomplished within them, and after the research, I found an opportunity to break some of them.

He added: “It was an amazing feeling that my name was announced (officially distinguished) by Guinness World Records. Now that I have reached records of limited time, I look forward to becoming a shattered number of them in the future. ”

Future plans

Mahmoud Ayoub is currently preparing many other attempts, such as the largest number of pressure exercises with fingers with a weight of 40 pounds, and another attempt for the same number with a weight of 60 pounds.
