The mullet embroidery is the traditional embroidery of the Jin Dynasty, which has absorbed the embroidery techniques of various ethnic groups in the Uyur River Basin and formed a unique embroidery genre. Bei'an City is the source of Wuyuer River and one of the origins of mullet embroidery. Wang Chunyan is the fourth-generation heir to Bei'an mullet embroidery.

She introduced that the mullet embroidering should use mulberry silk thread thinner than the hair when embroidering the character's skin, facial features, and hair. Embroidered with delicate and delicate patterns. The mullet embroidery combines two characteristics of delicate and bold.

"Inspiration, innovation, and morals are the elements of a good embroidery." Wang Chunyan believes that continuous research and innovation to give the work a unique soul should be a characteristic of non-genetic inheritors.

Many years ago, Wang Chunyan also ran for a living. "Nobody knew the mullet embroidery at that time, no matter how expensive the raw materials were, and no matter how hard they thought, they couldn't sell for a good price," she said. In order to play the brand, she set up exhibitions everywhere and participated in various competitions. Gradually, the mullet embroidery attracted more and more attention.

At the same time, the Bei'an Municipal Government declared the Heilongjiang Intangible Cultural Heritage Project for Wuyu Embroidery and provided Wang Chunyan with a 300-square-meter exhibition venue for free. Wang Chunyan founded the Wuyu Embroidery Skills Training School and taught embroidery skills for free. So far, more than 3,000 people have been trained; and embroidered embroidered groups have been formed, and some poor households have achieved poverty alleviation through embroidery.

Li Yunxia followed Wang Chunyan to learn mullet embroidery from last year. "Embroidery does not require high physical strength, it is completed with care, and it is free in time." Li Yunxia said that now embroidering patterns for sachets, fans and other objects can not only make money, but also enrich life.

Wang Chunyan felt relieved. She said that the meaning of non-legacy is not displayed in a museum, but only used for life, can be truly inherited.
