The death exams marker issued the social networking site "Twitter" in Lebanon, which was shared by hundreds of students to demand the cancellation of exams in Lebanese universities, due to the students ’fear of catching a new Corona virus infection if they came to the classes to take their exams, especially after detecting Corona cases Several among the students.

Through the marking, the students protested the Lebanese University’s decision to take the exams despite the circumstance related to the Corona virus, while some announced that they were boycotting the exams.

On the social networking sites, the Lebanese called for reconsidering and postponing the exams in the Lebanese University’s colleges, after a number of university students were infected with the Corona virus, in addition to the severe economic conditions that reached the degree of the inability of some students to bear the cost of transportation to the university. 

One of the followers said: "The amount of persistence is urgent. The exams are a situation that shows indescribable ignorance. Save us!"

Another said: "After the exams became one night away, and while we did not yet hear my campaign yesterday and today for an opinion official, or a curator who made the decisions, he heard, we publicized the data to boycott the attendance exam, because defending our health becomes a personal task if you rush Call her care. We are sure. "

And some students talked about the psychological pressures that they went through during the previous period, both at the harsh standard of living they faced due to the high prices and the fall of the local currency against the dollar, in addition to the pressures they faced in the quarantine period due to "Corona", which made them unable to perform Examinations for this period.

One of the sufferers said: "The psychological pressure follows our stove in the period of stone, after the growth of the economic crisis, the price hike, and the state of the collapsed country. Or not, can we still bear it? "

Several students addressed, through the marking, the Lebanese Minister of Education, asking him not to risk the lives of students, to reverse the decision to take university exams, and to place students ’health in priority.

And one of the followers said: "With the number of injuries increasing, Your Excellency, the minister will suspend the exams sooner and not risk the lives of students, not university students, or vocational students, and free students against covid-19. We don’t want to go to the # death_exams

Another said: "His Excellency the Minister of Education and the President of the Lebanese University, we are still waiting for you to issue an urgent decision and now to postpone the exams at the Lebanese University pending the finding of appropriate solutions."

For his part, the Lebanese Minister of Education, Tariq Al-Majzoub, interacted with the student campaign, and wrote in his official account on Twitter: “Oh students of Lebanon! I received your message and heard your demands.
” Your health is a priority. A slogan was our companion in all our educational / university decisions ... Your health will remain Priority is priority, and we will work to find quick solutions ... ".

However, one of the followers responded to the minister's tweet saying: "Our health is your priority, so that they intend to test early."

The Lebanese Minister of Health had warned, earlier in the day, that the outcome of Corona's injuries in Lebanon today, Sunday, would be at its peak. 

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced yesterday, Saturday, the registration of 86 new infections with the new Corona virus, compared to 71 cases the previous day, as this outcome is the highest in the country on a daily basis, bringing the total number of infections to 2168 cases.
