Contest through social networks
The original tourist proposal is designed for anyone who cannot bear their desire to move around the world in these times of coronavirus. The first protagonists were 60 frustrated travelers who were winners of a contest promoted by the airport itself through social networks. They were chosen at random from a total of 7,000 participants.
Hiao Chunwei, one of the lucky ones who was able to 'not fly' aboard a China Airlines airline A330 with her young son told CNN that she felt "a little depressed" about not going anywhere this summer. "So it will be a good memory for us," she added.
