"In modern society, many traditional crafts are being eliminated by machines too fast! So for more than four years, I have used almost all my vacation and spare time, visited more than ten folk craftsmen, and finally chose five Exhibiting." Feng Qingyan hopes that more people will join in, and some traditional skills that are on the verge of disappearing or difficult to be known by outsiders will be preserved in the form of images by the concept of "Photographic Archive". She also hopes that more Yunnan folk crafts can "go out" and attract more people to pay attention to its cultural value.

Located in Yunnan, on the southwestern border of China, many traditional craftsmanship still retain the ancient essence, like "living fossils". However, among them, a large number of craftsmanship faced problems such as weak protection and no one succeeding. In response to this, the “Traditional Craft Revitalization Action Plan” currently being promoted by Yunnan proposes that within this year, a batch of traditional craft themes and product varieties will be formed, a batch of well-known brands with higher design and production level will be cultivated, and a batch of Talent team with strong inheritance and innovation ability.
