"It is about democracy and the right to participate, but also about something as simple as a desire to have access to entertainment," says the post, which has been signed by, among others, musician and writer Ulf Lundell, actor Hedda Stiernstedt, film director Rojda Sekersöz , influencer Theresé Lindgren and business economist Björn Natthiko Lindeblad.

They mention that many summer talkers start from a written script that should be used to give everyone access to the programs. And that non-profit forces are already joining forces to transcribe and sign language programs on their own initiative.

"That this is not possible through public service and Sweden Radio's provision but assumes non-profit forces that work on their holidays and during evenings and weekends is regrettable," the debate statement states.
