Okinawa Prefecture announced that women in their 20s living in Tokyo were newly confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
In the prefecture, two people were confirmed to have been infected for the first time in 8 days and 69 days, and it was confirmed for two consecutive days.
With this, the number of confirmed infections in the prefecture has reached 145.
Multiple new infections at US military bases in the prefecture
The prefecture also revealed that the Marine Corps has contacted multiple people at Camp Hansen, a US military base, and one at Futenma base.
