Due to the fact that the incident was far away from the urban area, in order to save time, the Forest Branch Bureau immediately communicated with the Baijiantan District Natural Resources Bureau after receiving the police, and the staff and enthusiastic herders of the Bureau sent it to the Karamay Shixi Public Security Checkpoint. The forest police will receive and take care of it. The police conducted physical examination and milk feeding, and contacted the Forest Public Security Wildlife Identification Agency to determine that the cub is a national first-level protected animal in Mongolian wild ass.

After careful feeding, the health status of the small wild donkey has recovered well, but it has not yet been able to survive independently. Therefore, the Forest Branch decided to send it to the Dushanzi District Zoo, and wait until the young wild ass cubs reach the living conditions before returning to nature.
