"My priority is always safety": Elton John postpones by one year, from October 2020 to October 2021, his three concerts planned in Bercy because of the health context linked to Covid-19, he said Tuesday in a statement.

"It breaks my heart that we had to postpone the 2020 dates that we were all impatiently waiting for, but my team and I worked diligently on the postponements for 2021", explains the megastar, which had to interrupt its world tour, considered to be farewell, due to the pandemic.

"Keep everyone safe and healthy"

The interpreter of Your Song  says he is "looking forward to continuing the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour", before concluding: "May everyone remain safe and healthy". Sir Elton will therefore now play at Bercy - renamed Accor Arena - on October 10, 12 and 13, 2021.

Tickets purchased "for the original concerts will be valid for these reports," said his team. However "customers wishing to be reimbursed" may "contact the point of sale where they were purchased, within two months, until September 7, 2020 inclusive".
