Professional boxing men in their 20s in gyms get infected New Corona 6th July 19:28

The JBC-Japan Boxing Commission, a group of professional boxers, has announced that one pro athlete in his 20s, who belongs to a gym in Tokyo, has been infected with the new coronavirus.

According to the JBC, one professional athlete in his 20s had a fever on the 3rd of this month, and was subsequently tested by PCR and found to be "positive".

Currently, there are no symptoms such as fever and coughing, and he is observing his progress at home.

The gym to which this athlete belongs is currently closed, and after disinfecting the room according to the instructions of the public health center, the trainer who instructed was also "negative" as a result of the PCR test.

This athlete did not practice interpersonal training such as sparring, and the public health center determined that there were no close contacts with the gym personnel.

“I would like to continue to think about maximum measures, including life guidance, as the infection of young people is spreading,” said JBC Executive Director Go Yasukouchi.
