A British scientist presented a new novel about the new Corona, indicating that the virus was present and in a "sleeper" condition long before the outbreak in the Chinese city of Wuhan.
Dr. Thomas Jefferson, chief researcher at the Center for Evidence-Based Medicine at Oxford University, told the Telegraph newspaper that he was convinced that the virus had been present in several countries for some time.
Based on evidence from different countries of the world, the world indicated that the virus was discovered in wastewater samples in Barcelona, Spain in March 2019, 9 months before it was circulated in Wuhan.
The virus was also found in samples taken in Turin and Milan, Italy last December.
Russia today quoted the world as saying: "I think the virus was here a while ago. I mean by that it was everywhere. It is probably a sleeping virus that was activated by environmental conditions."
He cited as an example a case of injury on a ship that was on its journey from the South Georgia Island in the South Atlantic to the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires, indicating that the injury was recorded on the eighth day of the trip, when the ship crossed the waters of the Widdle Sea.
The scientist asked: "Was the virus in food and became active after it came out of deadlock?"
The scientist added that viruses "are always present, and there is something that makes them active at a certain moment, perhaps population density or environmental conditions. This is what we must study."
