On July 6, Italian composer Ennio Morricone died in Rome. He was 91 years old. According to media reports, the cause of death was complications after the fall and fracture of the femur. Since the early 1960s, Morricone has written music for over 450 films. Among them are the famous themes from the paintings “Professional”, “Once Upon a Time in America”, “Good, Bad, Evil” and “Disgusting Eight”. The composer's work was marked by many awards, including two Oscars, three Golden Globes, a Grammy and six BAFTA figurines. Morricone worked with many prominent directors: Sergio Leone, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Terrence Malik, Pedro Almodovar, Quentin Tarantino and Vladimir Khotinenko.
