Talking about the origin of making pewter, Dai Qingbiao said: "When I was 16, I studied with Yongkang's master to learn to play pewter. When I was 18, I went out to do it by myself. At that time, the family conditions were not good and I felt that learning a craft could make a living. "
In the 70s of the 20th century, Dai Qingbiao spurred his luggage around. This bag is the treasure of his livelihood, because there are many types of ramming tools, and the weight is not light, so he can only pick it with a shoulder pole, and his shoulders have a thick cocoon.

Dai Qingbiao's family lives in an ancient street in Jiedao Town, Tiantai County. The cabinets in the living room are stocked with nearly 40 kinds of pewter. There are dozens of pewter styles in tin bottles, hip flasks, wax tables, vases, and each shape and pattern is different. The small pewter has a small amount of plutonium, and the large pewter has a pewter content of up to ten pounds. It takes three or four days to complete the hand-made process, and the process of single grinding needs to beat tens of thousands of times.
