If Mark Hamill owes everything to Star Wars , that never stopped him from disagreeing with certain artistic choices regarding the franchise. And this is particularly the case of a scene cut during the editing of A New Hope , the very first opus in the intergalactic saga. This scene was written as an introduction, so before Darth Vader's assault on Princess Leia's ship. It allows you to install the character of Luke Skywalker and to show that he has only one goal: to leave his life as a farmer on the planet Tatooine by all means ... including by joining the Evil Empire which then makes terror reign over the galaxy.
