The area of ​​forest fires in the Krasnoyarsk Territory over the past day decreased from more than 90 thousand hectares more than twice, and in Kamchatka - by 40% (to 33.1 thousand hectares).

At the same time, the area of ​​natural fires in the Irkutsk region increased to 25.7 thousand ha.

Large fires were also recorded in Chukotka (37.7 thousand ha), in the Amur Region (3.3 thousand ha), the Magadan Region (1.7 thousand ha), in Yakutia (1.6 thousand ha) and in the Transbaikal Territory (1.5 thousand ha).

Earlier, the Federal Forestry Agency estimated the damage from forest fires in 2019 at 13.4 billion rubles.

"New Sevastopol" also reported that the city extended a special fire safety regime.
